The Racing Factory with no luck in a weekend of mixed feelings
Racing is like that, and sometimes, even when the possibility of winning the National Champion title is close (Absolute and 2WD), luck is not with those who did everything to achieve them. "It was a weekend of many emotions as predicted, but where things ended up not going well for us in terms of the National Championship. Despite the commitment of The Racing Factory's entire team, it wasn't possible to achieve the big goals in the Rali de Mortágua. Racing is like that and we just have to be happy for the incredible performance of our drivers throughout the season", explained Justino Reis, before congratulating Diogo Gago and Rafael Botelho: "In such an intense weekend, we must highlight the excellent performances of the young Diogo Gago and Rafael Botelho in their respective championships, where the team was also present, mobilizing the whole available contingent and where it was shown that, in The Racing Factory, you win and lose, always, as a team!"
For The Racing Factory's CEO, Aloísio Monteiro, the pre race satisfaction remains despite the results in Mortágua: "I said before the race that there was no doubt that our team/structure was already to be congratulated. We reached the decision stage and, this time, we didn't win. Races are just like that. The most important thing is to have a clear conscience about the internal work that was developed not only for this Rali de Mortágua, but for all the competitions and races in which we participated throughout the year. The drivers are to be congratulated for everything they did in 2021 and the whole work team is to be congratulated for the excellent performance. This season is not over yet for The Racing Factory and there are still titles and rallies to conquer!"
The Racing Factory would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the new Absolute National Champions, Ricardo Teodósio and José Teixeira, as well as Carlos Fernandes - Valter Cardoso who triumphed in the CPR 2WD. A word also to ARC Sport for their triumph as a Team.
