A staple of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) since 2004, the Barum Czech Rally Zlín is one of the most challenging and iconic asphalt events on the calendar. Held in Zlín, a South Moravian university city, the rally features bumpy, broken road surfaces, high-speed sections through dense forests, and unpredictable weather conditions that add to the difficulty. Spectators flock in huge numbers, especially for the thrilling night-time superspecial stage in Zlín, creating an electrifying atmosphere. With a legacy dating back to 1971, this long-standing event celebrated its 50th edition in 2021, cementing its status as one of Europe’s most prestigious rallies.
The rally’s deep-rooted connection with Zlín’s industrial and cultural heritage enhances its appeal. The city, located 300 km from Prague and 220 km from Vienna, was shaped by Tomáš Bat’a, who revolutionized the shoe industry in the region. The event’s permanent service park is hosted at Continental Barum’s massive tyre factory and distribution center in Otrokovice, further highlighting the rally’s significance in the motorsport and automotive world. With its mix of technical challenges, passionate fan base, and rich history, Barum Czech Rally Zlín remains a highlight of the ERC season.

Welcome to the 2024 FIA European Rally Championship and to another exciting season. Once again, every stage from all eight rounds will be streamed live and on demand for fans to watch whenever, wherever and however they want through WRC Promoter’s streaming platform at http://www.rally.tv/

ERC POINTS
Points are awarded to the top 15 finishers in each category on the following descending scale:

In ERC, ERC3 and ERC4 drivers count their best seven scores from a possible eight. In Junior ERC it’s five rounds from six. The fastest five drivers on the Power Stage score points on a descending scale as follows:

To score points in the FIA European Rally Championship for Teams, competitors must register in ERC, ERC3 or ERC4 under a team name. A maximum of three cars may be registered for the purpose of scoring Team points. A registered Team can score points with the two best placed cars of its Team in the final classification of each rally. For the purpose of calculating points, cars driven by ERC4 priority drivers will score points within their own group.

- FIA ERC3 for Drivers and Co-Drivers
- FIA ERC4 for Drivers and Co-Drivers

- FIA Tyre Suppliers Trophy
Tyres
To score ERC points, drivers must use tyres from a registered manufacturer. All Junior ERC entrants must use tyres from Hankook. Tyre use is restricted according to category.
Testing
Testing is restricted to control costs, essentially to one day per rally.
