Pedro Salvador and Aloísio Monteiro ready and motivated for Motorland

  • The pair of drivers of the Porsche 991 GT3 CUP from The Racing Factory face the second double journey of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Iberica with great ambition;
  • Salvador leads the championship overall and Aloísio is in 2nd place in Category GD;

The Motorland circuit, in the community of Aragon, will be the stage next weekend (May 27th and 28th) for the long and challenging 2nd leg of the Porsche Sprint Challenge competition organized by P21 Motorsport and which, in this debut season, has boasted a very high competitive level.

And after the double-double podium that Pedro Salvador and Aloísio Monteiro signed at the start of the competition in Portimão, a feat that allowed Salvador to take over the overall command of the championship, while his teammate and CEO of The Racing Factory (TRF) was placed in 2nd place in the GD Category, the team and the drivers want to maintain or even improve the performances and results obtained in the first week-end.

Now Motorland and for Pedro Salvador, passing through the Aragonese circuit is a reason to feel “enthusiastic. Motorland is a circuit that I really like and where I have good memories. It will be a good opportunity to improve what we did in Portimão. That first weekend was good, but not what I wanted. I wish I had been more competitive. But we are ahead of the championship and in this second round the focus will be on defending and, if possible, reinforcing leadership, as well as working with the team so that we can all evolve in this new phase of TRF. I am convinced that the team will be much more oiled, and I believe that we will have all the conditions to be competitive and try to win”.

Aloísio Monteiro’s declarations are in tune with the same tuning fork.

The “boss” of TRF is certain that “we will be in the fight for victories with Pedro Salvador. At the start of the season, he demonstrated that he has what it takes to win races and be champion and the team was always able to help him and followed all his precious advice to develop the car. For TRF this is a debut season in terms of speed, but the fact that it is a year of learning does not mean that we do not want to be competitive and do our best to win. This is our DNA!”.

As for his aspirations as a pilot, Aloísio feels “very calm and motivated. Once again, I will be discovering a circuit and it will be only the second double journey that I will drive the Porsche. There are two factors that demand great care from me, using the training sessions well to evolve, leaving the pace stronger for the races. I am 2nd in the GD championship and I will do everything to repeat the results of Portimão!”.

The two races of the day will be broadcast in live streaming, on the Youtube channel of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica:
